The City of Newport News recognizes that a strong cultural presence adds to the quality of life in the community and enhances the City’s ability to attract and retain businesses and residents. To support local cultural arts organizations the City established a Cultural Attractions Fund that can be applied to for funding.

The Newport News Public Art Foundation is grateful to the City for awarding our organization $50,000 this year. These funds will assist with the advancement of three additions to our open-air art gallery. We are excited to show the citizens of Newport News our sculpture plans in the near future.
