We are thrilled to announce that the Newport News Public Art Foundation will participate again in the Give Local 757 24-hour day of giving. Last year the grand total of contributions to our Foundation was $2,166.65! For those who are unfamiliar with this amazing philanthropy opportunity here are some quick facts:

WHAT is Give Local 757? An event that provides nonprofits the opportunity to build capacity, gain exposure for their causes and cultivate relationships with new donors. It is also an opportunity for our region to come together to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in a 24 hour period.

WHEN is the event? Midnight, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

Who can donate? Anyone and everyone!

What forms of donations are accepted? MasterCard, Visa, and American Express donations received through the website on the giving day. Checks can be mailed to the Peninsula Community Foundation (host of the event) on or before May 8, 2017.

Are gifts tax-deductible? All donations are tax deductible.

Is there a minimum gift? Yes, the minimum donation is $10.
