Perched on an island built just for her in Kettle Pond, “Selene” gazes out over the James River, with the lovely Mariners’ Museum Park as her backdrop. Selene is bound to become a community favorite … after all, the work of her creator, María Gamundí, has been called “an ode to beauty and the female form.”
