The day has finally come to bring these beautiful sculptures to Newport News!
Please join the Newport News Public Art Foundation at the unveiling of the city’s newest public art, Whitetail Crossing, by Wendy Klemperer.
These expressive sculptures will be revealed
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2015 AT 11AM
at the entrance to Deer Park on Jefferson Avenue.
PARKING FOR THE UNVEILING
The main entrance to Deer Park will be closed for the unveiling. Parking can be accessed at the park’s second entrance — from Jefferson Avenue, turn right onto Groome Road, then make a right onto Deer Park Road. Follow the road to the parking lot in front of the Ranger Station. Should the parking lot at the Ranger Station fill up there is overflow parking available back down Deer Park Road and on Groome Road.
